Aii Language Center believes that every student is unique and we can help reach their full potential. We offer two main counseling programs to facilitate student learning and success in their lifelong academic and professional lives.

1) Career and College Counseling
College education (higher education) is the gateway to better mobility and lifelong opportunities. Many students expect to pursue higher education, but they do not have enough support and guidance on the preparation steps. College and career counseling programs aim to keep students informed and make better educational and career choices. Most importantly, our counseling programs offer information on courses, career options, type of academic and occupational training needed to succeed in the workplace, and opportunities associated with specific field of interest.

Services and resources offered include:

• Career Assessments
• Information on educational alternatives
• Goal setting for students in all levels

2) Academic & Personal Counseling
Young people are influenced emotionally and mentally by numerous emerging factors such as social media, family life and peer pressure. Being a student can be stressful or overwhelming at times, affecting academic success and relationhips. Our school counseling program support students to succeed as a student at Aii Language Center.

Academic Counseling covers the following topics:

• Study skills
• Time management
• Assistive technology
• Suspension and probation
• Change of major
• College survival skills
• Impact of dropping/writhdrawing from a class

Personal Counseling assists students with personal issues that may interfere with studies:

• Coping skills
• Crisis management/intervention
• Life transitions
• Community agency referrals
• Sexual assault referrals
